Fort St. John Committee (formerly known as the Communities in Bloom Committee) is spearheading a Community Art Mural Project. It’s being put forward as a graffiti counter measure, and involves recruiting artists between 16 and 20, to design and paint murals on the fence.- Advertisement -Earlier this year, Council decided to tear down the old fence surrounding the property, and dished out $30,000 for a new and better constructed one. Now, it has decided to spend another $3,000 for marketing and supplies for the mural project, with the funds to be taken from the 2010 Communities in Bloom budget.last_img
